Tom's New Career

Tom has recently started a new job with a promising career and wanting to get on a successful financial path from the start.

His financial goals are to buy a home as soon as it is affordable and to make sure he is on a path that he can retire and live comfortably.

Although initially Tom’s plan did not accomplish his goals, by simply saving in his company’s 401(k) plan instead of in a different investment account, he’s now on a path to success. We were also able to determine that he can afford to buy a home in about 10 years and earlier if he trims his expenses a bit.
